The Astronaut Starry Sky Projector from The Glow Company is a space-themed light projector shaped like an astronaut. The astronaut stands 22.5cm tall, with a magnetic space helmet that can rotate in any direction. The helmet is connected to the body by a cable that looks like an umbilical backpack.
The colourful nebula clouds can be set to red, green, blue, red/green, blue/green, blue/red, all colours together, or a morph setting that scrolls through the colours. The laser stars can be set to static, or to pulse or breathe at different rates.
Using the remote control, the recipient can also set one of two timer functions. A 45-minute sleep timer lights a blue LED on the backpack, while the 90-minute timer lights red. This makes it a good gift for children who like space, bedroom lights or calming room effects.
